We love photographing weddings at Middleton Lodge House, it’s a beautiful Old English country house set in the North Yorkshire countryside. This gorgeous setting is perfect for couples and their guests to relax and enjoy their wedding day from start to finish; complimented by the amazing team at Middleton Lodge what more could you wish for.
Zara and Karl had planned their day meticulously (well mainly Zara), as well as all the usual organising that comes with any wedding day, she created bespoke table decorations and even went as far as drying petals to create their very own confetti.
We are always conscious of the enormity of the job of recording a couples wedding day, you only get once chance to take these photos, therefore you have to get it right ,no second chances! Added to this the strangest thing about being wedding photographers is we drop into a couples lives, only meet/chat to them on a few occasions prior to an incredibly special and personal day and then we pretty much spend the whole day with them. This intense and daunting day was made so much fun as Zara and Karl were a dream to photograph and their smiling family and friends so happy and appreciative.
The weather on the day was just perfect, glorious sunshine, so with Zara’s meticulous planning, Tilly from Middleton Lodge’s attentive care throughout the day, the happiest and most colourful guests and to top it all an amazing golden hour for some beautiful couple shots what more could any of us ask for?
