Rachel & James Wedding at Lartington Hall

When a couple come to see us and know what they want from their wedding photography and we have been recommended to them, we are already excited about their wedding day. James and Rachel were definitely that couple. Then when you added into the equation a dream North east wedding venue like Lartington Hall the wedding day can only get better. 

We had a lovely afternoon catching up on wedding plans over coffee when we met up at the Lakes for James and Rachel's pre wedding shoot. As ever the scenery was amazing with a few dramatic skies thrown in, it was good to have a chance to photograph these two and help them to relax about their photography before the big day. 

Rachel and James chose to have an initimate wedding with their immediate family and friends at Lartington Hall. The whole of the day was just perfect from a calm morning getting ready, except for a little moment with the bow ties and an odd drop of rain, but certainly nothing to spoil everyone being able to enjoy this very happy occasion. The evening golden hour was just perfect for our last few shots with the happy couple before they cut some shapes on the dance floor
